As a young girl of 16. Anita came home and told me she wanted to go out with a boy at skating she had met. I admit to being anxious, as she was only 16 and he was 23. I agreed she would be allowed to go out with him, but I had to meet him first. I need not have worried, as he was a lovely young man, and was a perfect gentleman to my "little girl" 20 years later, and if I was choosing a husband for her, I would have chosen Alastair. He was a lovely son-in-law, wonderful husband to Anita, and a great father to their two beautiful children, Toby and Freya. Taken far too early, we will miss you so much, love from Marilyn. xxx
